For friends in Sweden, Hammerfall Single Malt Scotch Whisky, one of the bottlings we have been working on has now gone on sale in Systembolaget. See http://www.systembolaget.se/85600
Hammerfall selected this Single Malt for their bottling based on taste alone. It is heavily peated and the use of both former bourbon and former sherry casks in the maturation adds body and complexity. It is a limited edition of 5000 bottles, and is only available from Sweden's Systembolaget.

Sounds good and looks even better. :-)
ReplyDeleteFrom which Distillery is the Whisky and what´s the age?
Hi Holzwurm, Thanks for your note. Hammerfall Single Malt is 6 years old, and was selected based on taste alone. I am sorry, we are not allowed to reveal the place of distillation.
DeleteThe shape of the bottle and the caracteristics are good clues for the distillery ;-)
DeleteYou might think that but I couldn't possibly comment!
DeleteHi, I'm helping to update an online directory of vegan-friendly alcohol, and I was hoping you could provide some information about this Whisky.
ReplyDeleteDoes it contain any animal ingredients (such as milk, eggs, honey, etc) or are animal products used in the processing/filtration of the product (such as isinglass, gelatin, etc)?
Thanks, Dom
Sorry Dom, only just noticed your message. By law Scotch Whisky can only be made from three ingredients; water, malted barley and yeast. No isinglass nor gelatine where used in the production of this whisky. I trust this assists.
